Ranabaali has crossed Rs 80.43 crore in worldwide gross by Day 19, but the daily trend under the milestone is cooling fast.
The period drama, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, added Rs 16 lakh net in India on its nineteenth day, according to Sacnilk data cited by The Times of India. Screening across 487 shows, it sold 14,959 tickets on the day.
Day 19: milestone and momentum
The film’s cumulative India net now stands at Rs 58.62 crore, with India gross at Rs 68.08 crore. Overseas gross has reached Rs 12.35 crore, taking the worldwide total to Rs 80.43 crore.
That global benchmark sits next to a clear daily fade. The Rs 16 lakh net figure was down 15.8% from Rs 19 lakh on the previous day. Overall Telugu 2D occupancy on Day 19 was 11.51%, with morning shows strongest at 13.27% and evening shows weakest at 8.18%.
Third-week fade in perspective
Ranabaali remains a front-loaded performer. It opened with Rs 9.25 crore net on day one and collected Rs 45.20 crore net in week one. Week two added Rs 12.10 crore net, a 73.2% drop. The first five days of week three have brought only Rs 1.32 crore net.
That week-by-week pattern matters more than the milestone for distributors and exhibitors:
- Week 1 net: Rs 45.20 crore
- Week 2 net: Rs 12.10 crore, a 73.2% drop
- Week 3, first five days: Rs 1.32 crore net
The comparison with The Girlfriend
Rashmika Mandanna’s previous release, The Girlfriend, has collected Rs 29.22 crore worldwide gross after 35 days, with Rs 22.02 crore from India and Rs 7.20 crore from overseas. Its Telugu version accounts for Rs 18.14 crore net and the Hindi version Rs 68 lakh.
On the cited totals, Ranabaali is close to three times The Girlfriend‘s global tally: Rs 80.43 crore shared by Rs 29.22 crore works out to roughly 2.8 times. The trade significance is that a star pairing delivered a much wider commercial curve than the predecessor, but the tail is now bending in the same direction.
For entertainment marketers and trade watchers, the signal is to read the weekly curve alongside the headline number. A Rs 80 crore gross is a milestone, but an 11.51% occupancy in week three suggests the theatrical ceiling may be close unless there is a late-run spark.
