Prime Video Builds a Five-Service Streaming Bundle

Prime Video is turning its Channels storefront into a more aggressive bundler. The Amazon-owned platform is preparing to launch a single subscription that stacks AMC+, Starz, MGM+, PBS Masterpiece and BritBox for $29.99 a month.

That is a 39 percent discount versus subscribing to each service separately, according to Prime Video, and it marks the first time the service has assembled a bundle with five different streaming offerings.

What the bundle actually includes

The five services skew heavily toward premium scripted and library programming rather than broad reality or unscripted catalogues.

  • AMC+: home to the Anne Rice and Walking Dead universes.
  • Starz: carries the Power and Outlander franchises.
  • MGM+: mixes films from the MGM library with originals and exclusive series.
  • BritBox and PBS Masterpiece: anchor the bundle in British drama and mysteries.

The price point is positioned as a value play, but it is not a low-cost starter pack. At $29.99, Amazon is targeting households that already pay for several niche subscriptions and would rather consolidate them inside one billing relationship.

Why it matters for streaming buyers

For media planners and entertainment marketers, this is the latest signal that streaming is re-bundling around distribution hubs. Amazon has built Prime Video Channels into a marketplace where services such as HBO Max and Paramount+ are sold directly to consumers; industry sources say that storefront has become a significant source of subscriber acquisition for participating services.

Ryan Pirozzi, head of Prime Video Channels, U.S., framed the launch as an expansion of that model. He described the plan as the “first-ever five-service streaming bundle on Prime Video” and said the subscriptions and bundles business continues to grow by focusing on “unmatched selection, value and convenience.”

The takeaway

Most of Prime Video’s prior bundle tests paired two services, with a couple of three-service options. Moving to five services shows a larger ambition, even if the first group is made up of specialist brands. If larger, more broadly appealing services eventually join similar packages, bundles could shift how streaming budgets are allocated—away from individual app subscriptions and toward one checkout flow that offers a discount for multi-service reach.

For now, the immediate question is whether a $29.99 bundle of five niche services can attract enough incremental subscribers without cannibalizing individual channel sales. The 39 percent discount suggests Amazon is willing to trade some per-subscriber revenue for higher retention and a stronger aggregation story.

For planning teams, the practical next step is to watch whether this package adds incremental households or mostly reduces revenue from current subscribers. That distinction will determine whether five-service bundles become a retention tool or a genuine growth lever.
