Nayyi Navelli improved on its second day at the domestic box office, collecting Rs 4 cr India net on Saturday, October 17, as per Sacnilk data cited by The Times of India. That is a 23.1% rise over the opening-day figure of Rs 3.25 cr.
The two-day India net total now stands at Rs 7.25 cr, with domestic gross at Rs 8.63 cr. Worldwide gross has reached Rs 10.13 cr after two days.
The day-two pattern
What stands out is the mix: the film played in 5,945 shows on Saturday, fewer than Friday’s 6,281, yet still posted higher collections. Reported overall occupancy improved from 11% on opening day to 14% on Saturday.
- Saturday India net: Rs 4 cr, up 23.1% from Rs 3.25 cr
- Two-day India net: Rs 7.25 cr
- Two-day worldwide gross: Rs 10.13 cr
- Overseas Saturday: Rs 75 lakh; total overseas gross Rs 1.50 cr
- Saturday footfalls: 179,695; two-day total 334,706

The Hindi 2D version registered an occupancy of 21.99% on Saturday. The time-slot split tells a clear story: morning shows lagged at 7.77%, afternoon rose to 24.08%, evening to 24.46%, and night shows led at 27.15%.
What it means for programming and marketing
For exhibitors, the data points to where demand is concentrated. If the pattern holds through Sunday, evening and night shows are doing the heavy lifting, while morning inventory is the soft spot. That is a scheduling signal, not yet a trend, because this is still a two-day sample on a modest base.
For marketing teams, a second-day gain is an early indication that the film is not being rejected outright. But the absolute numbers are small, and the film began from a low opening-day base. The real test is whether the weekend hold continues and whether occupancy keeps climbing when show counts are optimized.
The film, directed by Balaji Mohan and led by Yami Gautam, is a Meerut-set comedy-horror that blends domestic comedy, horror and regional mythology. A reported first-day, first-show screening in Noida was moved from 9 am to noon for undisclosed reasons, but the Saturday numbers still moved up.
