Drishyam 3 crosses Rs 584.74 crore worldwide

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion added Rs 1.75 crore in India net collections on Sunday, November 1, a 9.4% uptick over the previous day’s Rs 1.60 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film ran across 3,089 shows.

That lifts the domestic net total to Rs 377.35 crore. India gross is Rs 451.94 crore, and worldwide gross now stands at Rs 584.74 crore after adding Rs 25 lakh from overseas markets on Day 31.

Why the multiple matters more than the milestone

For rights buyers, media planners and franchise heads, the key metric is the budget multiple. The film was reportedly made on Rs 110 crore, including promotional expenses and additional salary costs. A worldwide gross of Rs 584.74 crore puts it at more than five times reported cost.

That is what makes Drishyam 3 a franchise asset rather than a one-off hit. By comparison, the report places Drishyam 2 at Rs 90 crore in production cost plus Rs 60 crore in salaries, while the original Drishyam was reportedly made on Rs 65 crore.

Where the late-run money is coming from

  • Week 1: Rs 245.50 crore India net; Rs 294.60 crore India gross.
  • Week 2: Rs 87.50 crore net.
  • Week 3: Rs 28.85 crore net.
  • Week 4: Rs 11.15 crore net.
  • Days 29-31: Rs 4.35 crore net, with Sunday contributing the highest share.
  • Overseas cumulative gross: Rs 132.80 crore.

The split matters. India net is domestic collections after entertainment tax, the standard Indian reporting yardstick. Worldwide gross includes both domestic gross and overseas money, so the two cannot be compared directly. The overseas proportion here is meaningful: Rs 132.80 crore of the Rs 584.74 crore total is coming from international markets.

What this means for the next few weeks

The film’s Sunday bump is modest but useful. A 9.4% lift at Day 31 signals that the title is still finding audiences on weekends, not just burning off screens. With the Ramayana release approaching, that late-run engagement gives the franchise a stronger case in licensing and OTT windowing conversations.

The number to watch next is whether the title can hold its weekend rhythm above the Rs 1.5 crore net mark. If it does, the eventual global total becomes less about the opening and more about durability – exactly what platforms pay for when they acquire a proven thriller.
