Ranabaali has crossed the ₹76-crore mark worldwide, but its second-week weekdays are now showing the real shape of the run. The Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna period action drama added an estimated ₹1.10 crore India net on Tuesday, October 27, according to Sacnilk data reported by The Times of India.
That is a fall of roughly 12% from Monday’s ₹1.25 crore. The film played across 1,511 shows on Day 12, with reported occupancy of about 20%.
Where the 12-day total stands
After Day 12, the film’s India net collection reached ₹55.35 crore. Domestic gross stood at ₹64.30 crore, while overseas markets contributed ₹12.15 crore. Worldwide gross now stands at ₹76.45 crore.
India net is the shareable Indian ticket revenue after entertainment tax is deducted; overseas and domestic gross are the wider totals that feed the worldwide figure.
- Opening day: ₹9.25 crore India net
- Day 2: ₹7.30 crore; Day 3: ₹7.50 crore
- First week: ₹45.20 crore India net
- Day 8: ₹2.10 crore; Day 9: ₹2.80 crore; Day 10: ₹2.90 crore
- Day 11: ₹1.25 crore; Day 12: ₹1.10 crore
What the trajectory says
The first seven days account for ₹45.20 crore of the ₹55.35 crore India net collected so far, which is roughly 82%. That makes the run heavily frontloaded: the past five weekdays have added a combined ₹10.15 crore, with the last two days falling to ₹1.25 crore and ₹1.10 crore.
For exhibition and distribution teams, a 20% occupancy print at this stage is a signal about screen retention. If weekdays stay in the ₹1-1.5 crore range, holding shows will depend on the second weekend and on whether occupancy recovers in high-performing centres.
For entertainment marketers, the same curve is a reminder to match campaign weight to how a title is actually holding: a strong opening-weekend spike loses value quickly if daily net slides below ₹1.25 crore.
What to watch next
The weekend is the next meaningful test. A strong Saturday-Sunday bump would slow the decline and protect screens; a soft weekend would push the run towards a finish driven mostly by its opening week.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is set during the Madras Famine of 1876–1878 in the Rayalaseema region and follows a horseman leading resistance against British colonial rule. Arnold Vosloo plays the antagonist.
