Kunal Kemmu’s action-comedy Vibe holds the advantage over Meghna Gulzar’s investigative thriller Daayra in live Day 2 data from Sacnilk, reported by ETV Bharat. Daayra pairs Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran; Vibe is headlined by Kemmu with Preity Zinta and Sparsh Shrivastava.
Vibe has collected Rs 1.64 crore so far on Day 2, while Daayra is at Rs 0.99 crore. That puts the Day 2 lead at about Rs 0.65 crore, but these numbers will move after evening and night shows are reported.

Show count is the real story
The collection gap looks wider than the audience response. Vibe is playing across 2,478 shows, roughly 49% more than Daayra’s 1,666 shows. Occupancy is much closer: 18% for Vibe against 16% for Daayra.
For media planners and distribution teams, this changes the read. Raw collections favour Vibe, but the occupancy gap suggests Daayra is holding comparable demand inside a smaller release footprint. If the final Saturday number improves for Daayra, the weekend trend will be more important than the two-day total.
What to watch next
Sunday growth is the cleaner word-of-mouth marker. A thriller with a bigger star cast needs evening and night shows to convert urban audiences; an action-comedy with a wider release needs its extra shows to stay productive. The key line is final Saturday occupancy, not early nett.
