Eman Balogun, known to YouTube viewers as Eman SV2, is turning a six-million-subscriber channel into a company. The new venture, Frenzy, launches in a few days and will operate across content, commerce and live experiences.
The studio reset
Frenzy is positioned as a studio rather than a personal channel. That means new formats and talent will not always be fronted by Eman SV2. Early collaborators include Kiki Footballer, Kassidy, Zayn Ali and Eleni, with formats such as “Kids Footballer vs 20 Pro Goalkeepers” and the “Frenzy Winter Cup Tournament.”
The channel gives the launch a running start: more than 6 million subscribers and nearly 750 posted videos. The company opens with five staff, plus freelancers and coaches for live events.
Three revenue lines
- Content: studio-led formats on the existing YouTube channel, featuring new talent alongside Eman SV2.
- Live experiences: football camps and tournaments; about 17 events have already been held from L.A. to Dubai to London.
- Commerce: footballs, clothing and accessories that appear in content. The previous online merch store has been closed to make room for Frenzy.
Why it matters
Eman SV2 put the offer simply: “Frenzy is football you can watch, play, wear and turn up to.” The company is trying to convert a creator audience into multiple revenue streams and owned touchpoints, not just video views. He added that he did not want “another brand with my face on everything.”
That matters for media planners because creator-led live events and commerce are becoming inventory, not just follower counts. It also carries risk: new-host formats must hold an audience that originally arrived for one face, while physical events and product lines add operating complexity a YouTube channel does not carry.
For brands, live formats offer measurable, real-world activation, and commerce tied to specific video formats gives a tighter content-to-conversion link than a standard sponsorship.
What to watch
Planners should track whether non-Eman formats retain viewership, how quickly the live event calendar scales beyond the 17 or so events already held, and whether commerce converts because of the formats rather than the founder alone. If the studio model works, it is a useful template for other creator brands moving beyond ad-funded video.
