Drishyam 3 debuts at Rs 95.10 crore globally

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion opened with an estimated Rs 95.10 crore worldwide gross on October 2, 2026, falling just short of the Rs 100 crore opening-day mark but setting a new high for the franchise and for Ajay Devgn.

India net collections came in at Rs 66.75 crore from 15,759 shows, with India gross at Rs 80.10 crore. Overseas markets added Rs 15 crore gross, according to figures reported by sacnilk.

  • India net: Rs 66.75 crore from 15,759 shows
  • India gross: Rs 80.10 crore
  • Overseas gross: Rs 15 crore
  • Worldwide gross: Rs 95.10 crore

Franchise jump

Drishyam 2 opened at Rs 15.38 crore net and Rs 18.15 crore gross in India, while the first Hindi Drishyam began at Rs 5.85 crore net. Drishyam 3’s Rs 66.75 crore India net start is therefore a multiple of the previous instalment’s day one.

Devgn’s biggest opening

The film also became Ajay Devgn’s biggest opener, ahead of Singham Again’s Rs 43.70 crore, Singham Returns’ Rs 32.09 crore and Golmaal Again’s Rs 30.14 crore.

Demand was visible before release

Advance bookings reached Rs 79.71 crore across eight show dates when block seats were included, and Rs 67.79 crore without block seats. Block seats are tickets set aside for bulk or corporate bookings, which can make an advance-sale total look larger before those seats are sold or released.

The occupancy curve is the cleaner signal. Hindi 2D shows averaged 67.08%, starting slower in the morning and peaking at 76.46% in night shows. That means the big opening was not being carried purely by pre-booked fan demand.

What the opening means

At Rs 95.10 crore global, Drishyam 3 is within reach of the Rs 110.40 crore lifetime worldwide total of the 2015 Hindi Drishyam. It could cross that mark within its opening weekend, which turns the third film from a franchise revival into a commercial expansion.

For distribution teams, the practical reads are to track occupancy by show time rather than the headline gross alone, and to treat block-seat-inclusive pre-sales cautiously. The Rs 100 crore day may have been missed by a narrow margin, but the franchise and star records set on day one matter more for the run ahead.
