Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is no longer just an opening-weekend story. The Ajay Devgn-led thriller pushed its India net to Rs 352.24 crore by early Day 19, according to live tracking cited by The Times of India. India gross stood at Rs 422.11 crore, while worldwide gross through Day 18 was Rs 548.22 crore.
The late-run math
Week 1 delivered Rs 245.50 crore net and Week 2 added Rs 87.50 crore. That put the India net at Rs 333 crore by Day 14. The third-week shape is the more interesting signal.
- Day 15: Rs 3.10 crore
- Day 16: Rs 5.00 crore
- Day 17: Rs 6.25 crore
- Day 18: Rs 3.50 crore, taking India net to Rs 350.85 crore
- Day 19 live: Rs 1.39 crore from 1,571 shows
Week 2 retained roughly 36% of Week 1’s net. A Monday at Rs 3.50 crore and an early Tuesday at Rs 1.39 crore suggest the film is still converting word-of-mouth into weekday ticket sales, with limited competition helping it hold screens.
Why the legs matter
For entertainment marketers and media planners, the top-line number tells you the film is a hit. The hold curve tells you how much longer that hit can be monetised. A front-loaded thriller burns through demand in days; a leggy one keeps exhibitors interested into week three. That makes this run a useful reference for planning holdover budgets, not just opening-weekend spends.
Overseas is contributing steadily as well. The overseas gross reached Rs 127.75 crore by Day 18, led by a strong opening weekend. Combined with India gross, the worldwide total sits at Rs 548.22 crore.
The next milestones
The nearest India targets are Rs 360 crore net and Rs 425 crore gross. On the global side, Rs 550 crore gross is only Rs 1.78 crore away from the Day 18 total and could be crossed within a day or two.
Director Abhishek Pathak has said this is the final chapter of the Hindi franchise, with no fourth instalment planned. That confirmation gives the campaign a built-in scarcity angle: this is the last chance to watch Vijay Salgaonkar’s long game on the big screen. The downside is equally clear – the theatrical upside of the franchise ends with this run, so every additional crore now is also the closing argument.
