DAZN prices the Memphis Grizzlies at $19.99 a month

DAZN is testing a sharper version of sports streaming: instead of a league pass, it is selling a single NBA franchise as its own subscription product. For the 2026-27 season, Memphis Grizzlies fans can buy a dedicated team pass that covers locally broadcast games live and on demand.

The offer lands as the league returns: the NBA regular season tips off Tuesday, Oct. 20, and Memphis opens at FedExForum against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. ET.

What the team pass costs

DAZN is running a two-tier monthly structure, plus full-season passes:

  • Standard — $19.99 per month: local Grizzlies games live and on demand, original shows, downloads, and streaming on two devices in one location.
  • Ultimate — $24.99 per month: adds multiview of up to four games, alternate feeds and camera angles, five devices across two locations, and a one-time 20 percent discount at GrizzliesStore.com.
  • Season passes: Standard at $119.99, Ultimate at $139.99 for the full season.

Both monthly plans offer a seven-day free trial, subject to eligibility terms.

The exclusion that changes the value

The team pass is not a full NBA subscription. Games carried exclusively on national networks — ESPN, ABC, NBC, Peacock and Prime Video — are left out, and eligibility depends on the subscriber’s zip code. That makes the product a local-viewing layer rather than a replacement for a broader bundle.

A fan could pay for the Grizzlies pass and still need another service for marquee national games. The price looks low, but the total cost of fandom depends on how many games sit behind national exclusives.

What it tells the streaming market

DAZN’s general sports subscriptions start higher: a Standard plan with UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches and 185-plus fights begins at $24.99 per month with an annual contract, or $34.99 on a flexible monthly plan, with an annual upfront option at $249.99. The dedicated Grizzlies package is cheaper — and much narrower.

Sports remains one of the few categories that reliably drives direct subscriptions. A single-team pass is a sharper test: the platform is asking whether local loyalty alone can carry a recurring charge when the national windows are carved out separately.

For marketers, the playbook is straightforward: lead with the lower monthly price, anchor the season pass as the full-commitment option, and make local blackout rules visible in the offer rather than burying them in the terms.
