WWE Crown Jewel 2026: $31.99 streaming-only play

WWE’s Crown Jewel 2026 is a subscription play, not a pay-per-view transaction. The premium live event from ANB Arena in Riyadh streams Saturday, Nov. 7 at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT exclusively on ESPN Unlimited. There is no PPV price, and the card is not on ESPN’s cable channel, so the only way to watch in the US is through a streaming subscription.

The list price for ESPN Unlimited starts at $31.99 per month. Variety reports that the Disney Streaming Bundle, which includes ESPN Unlimited, Hulu and Disney+, starts at $35.99 per month, roughly 40% less than buying the three services separately. For cord-cutters who want to sample the event, DirecTV’s Entertainment package offers a five-day free trial and carries ESPN Unlimited; it is priced at $59.99 for the first month, then $89.99 per month, with cloud DVR and more than 90 channels.

A pay-per-view habit becomes a retention lever

WWE has often used pay-per-view pricing for marquee events. Crown Jewel is different this year: the streaming-only setup turns the event from a one-time purchase into a subscriber acquisition moment. ESPN Unlimited gets a reason for fans to start a monthly payment, and the Disney bundle gives them two more services that make cancellation less attractive.

That is the live-sports playbook. One tentpole event acts as the top of the funnel; the bundle is the retention mechanism. The number to track is not just how many people tune in, but how many of the sign-ups around the event stay beyond the first billing cycle.

The viewership baseline

Internationally, the property has momentum. Last year’s Crown Jewel was in the top 10 in nearly 40 countries, per Variety. WWE is hoping this year’s edition draws even more viewers, and the Riyadh setting is expected to attract celebrity fans including Logan Paul and Mike Tyson.

Card and kickoff

  • Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship
  • Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match
  • The Vision vs. Penta and Je’Von Evans for the World Tag Team Championship

For media planners and streaming buyers, the takeaway is structural: a premium event can now be priced as a subscriber funnel rather than a transaction. The practical question is whether fans who have been trained to pay per event will convert into monthly subscribers at $31.99, or whether the bundle’s value is what finally closes the sale.
