Core Studio Debuts More Than 24 AI Filmmaking Agents

Taiwanese technology company imCore Corp launched Core Studio on Saturday at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest in Taipei, an AI filmmaking platform built around more than 24 specialized agents that act as a virtual production crew. The pitch for professional creators is not another standalone image generator, but a single workflow covering script development, storyboarding, image generation, editing and color grading.

Built by a Taiwanese team with roots in animation and visual effects, Core Studio runs on its own image-generation model and can also work with outside generative AI models. imCore says the platform follows standard filmmaking workflows, so a director or producer can move through several stages of production without switching between separate tools.

What the agents do

The platform’s core feature is the virtual crew. Story Atlas, the pre-production tool, breaks an imported script into scenes, shots and storyboards. It also sets up character designs, costumes, props and voice profiles and keeps them consistent from one sequence to the next. Editing-side agents can separate dialogue and sound effects from AI-generated footage.

Jerry Zhou, creator of the AI-assisted project “God Being,” said that gives him more flexibility and creative space as a creator. Four AI-assisted projects were presented at the launch.

Image quality, not just generation

Core Studio also includes Real Engine, which bundles Real Video, Real HDR and Real Revive. The three tools sharpen image detail, raise color depth from 8-bit to 16-bit and repair blown-out highlights in AI-generated footage. It is an acknowledgment that generating an image is only the first step; finishing it for a screen still requires correction.

Why the audit trail matters

For media planners, entertainment marketers and production executives, the most useful part may be the output record. Every AI-generated asset comes with a record of the models, prompts, parameters, costs and human review results behind it. That gives teams an auditable trail of creative decisions and a clearer view of budgets, instead of treating AI experiments as untracked creative play.

The platform also includes a cloud workspace with real-time communication, version control and access management for teams working across different countries.

The strategic read

Core Studio is effectively betting that professional AI adoption will be won through workflow integration, not novelty. For buyers evaluating AI production tools, that means three practical checks:

  • Does the platform keep characters, costumes and props consistent across sequences?
  • Does every output carry model, prompt, cost and human review data?
  • Can one cloud workspace replace the current stack of separate tools without adding complexity?

Charles Lee, founder and CEO of imCore Corp and founder of TWR Entertainment, framed the launch as an answer to professional creators who need more than image-generation tools. The open question is whether full-stack platforms like Core Studio become the default for independent and professional crews, or whether best-of-breed tools retain their hold.
