Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is now in its fourth week, and the journey from ₹577.56 crore to ₹600 crore is looking less automatic. The Ajay Devgn and Tabu thriller added an estimated ₹90 lakh in India net on Wednesday, October 28, across 3,169 shows. That was a 28% dip from the previous day’s ₹1.25 crore, the kind of weekday slide that turns a milestone into a question.
The day-27 numbers
The film’s India net total has reached an estimated ₹372.10 crore, with India gross at ₹445.66 crore. Overseas added ₹15 lakh on Wednesday, taking the cumulative overseas gross to ₹131.90 crore. Combined, the worldwide gross stands at ₹577.56 crore.
- Overall occupancy: 8.64%
- Morning shows: 7% occupancy
- Afternoon shows: 8.50% occupancy
- Evening shows: 10.42% occupancy
The weekly pattern shows the expected fall after a strong start. Reported India collections were ₹245.50 crore in the opening week, ₹87.50 crore in week two and ₹28.85 crore in week three.
Why the milestone matters
Crossing ₹600 crore would extend a run that has already made this the highest-grossing Ajay Devgn film, ahead of Singham Again and Tanhaji. For distribution and exhibition teams, that is a useful benchmark: a star-led thriller is out-earning action spectacles, which changes the value conversation for non-action franchises.
The release calendar is the film’s friend, but not for long. The next major Hindi release, Ramayana, arrives on November 5. Until then, there is room to hold screens, but the day-27 occupancy shows current demand is thin outside evening shows.
What to watch next
The film needs ₹22.44 crore more to hit ₹600 crore worldwide. That target will depend on whether the fourth weekend can produce a meaningful jump, and whether exhibitors hold enough shows before the November 5 competition arrives. Weekday collections around ₹1 crore or less will not be enough on their own; the weekend is where the milestone will be won or lost.
