DAZN is treating Saturday’s Navarrete-Foster card as a retention product, not just a combat broadcast. The three-belt junior lightweight main event is included with a standard subscription, which reframes a high-interest fight as a monthly service rather than a one-time pay-per-view purchase.
The fight
Emanuel Navarrete (40-2-1) faces O’Shaquie Foster (23-0-1) at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Navarrete brings the WBO and IBF titles, while Foster brings the WBC belt. The scheduled 12-round bout starts at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on DAZN.
The undercard
- Junior lightweight: Emanuel Navarrete vs. O’Shaquie Foster — WBO, IBF and WBC main event
- Featherweight: Edward Vazquez vs. Albert Gonzalez
- Super lightweight: Tarik Zaina vs. Frank Martin
- Bantamweight: Emanuel Moreno vs. Steven Navarro
The pricing structure
DAZN lists event access starting at $24.99 a month. That standard plan is the entry point for Saturday’s card. The Ultimate Tier costs $49.99 a month and includes the event plus 12 other PPV events during the year, along with more than 100 live fights annually, replays, highlights and documentaries.
Why it matters for the screen business
This is the live-sports play OTT platforms discuss: use premium events as subscription growth and retention tools instead of standalone transactions. By pricing the fight as part of a plan, DAZN pushes the value comparison toward a monthly recurring relationship. For media planners and streamers, the useful data point is not the fight result but how many new subscribers stay after fight night.
For buyers and analysts, the benchmark is whether bundling reduces churn relative to a standard one-event purchase. That will tell more than any single fight rating.
